Nora follows the level you choose, from 'New to the language' to advanced, and keeps to the language mix you set. Changes to how she teaches are tested against simulated learners before they ship.

Nora works in current versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge. Allow microphone access when your browser asks, so you can speak to Nora and start voice calls. On a phone, the iOS and Android apps give you the best experience.

Yes. Both plans start with a 7-day free trial with full access. A card is required to start it, and you can cancel anytime before it ends without being charged. After the trial it is $16.99 a month, or $9.99 a month billed annually. There is no free plan, but you can talk to Nora in a short welcome call right after you sign up, before you choose a plan.

Cancel wherever you subscribed. In the iPhone app, cancel in your iPhone Settings under Subscriptions. In the Android app, cancel in the Google Play Store under Payments & subscriptions. On the web, go to Settings, then Subscription, then Manage Subscription. You keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. Deleting your Nora account does not cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription, so cancel in the store first.

It depends on where you subscribed. Apple handles refunds for App Store purchases at reportaproblem.apple.com, and Google handles refunds for Google Play purchases through your Google Play order history. For a subscription bought on the web, email contact@hellonora.ai within 14 days of your first payment.

Yes. On the web, payments are processed by Stripe. In the apps, Apple or Google handles payment through your App Store or Google Play account. Nora never stores your card details.

On the web, you pay by card through Stripe. In the iPhone app, you pay through your App Store account, and in the Android app through Google Play, using the payment methods saved there.
